Beware, Princess Elizabeth: Carolyn Meyer

Well, I am only on the 9th page of this book and there is much going on. With Elizabeth's father, the King, dead and his recent wife falling in love with Tom Seymour. Elizabeth's younger brother is also known now to be king royalty now that his father is passed. As he went up to Tom, one of their uncles, and Tom held Edward, Elizabeth's little brother, in his arms. Then someone had yelled, "put him down at once, he is the King of England you fool"! And now Queen Catherine had fallen in love with this Tom Seymour the moment she saw his eyes. Elizabeth thought, how could you lose somebody and fall in love so fast? But she was going to accept Queen Catherine and couldn't think of her being a disloyal wife. I can't really relate to this but I kind of wonder the same thing. The whole falling in love right away thing. If I have lost a loved one I don't think I could just move on that quickly.
