Beware, Princess Elizabeth: Carolyn Meyer

Elizabeth has learned that Tom's brother, Edward Seymour, had been given the position or job of being a duke. He had been further named Lord Protector of King Edward. Elizabeth has also found that Catherine is falling in love with Tom. Elizabeth was not tempted to get married as she watched her father marry six women and Catherine had married two older men before. I really do agree with her. If I had watched my father marry that many women and get sick of them after a while then just throw them up in the tower to die, I wouldn't be very tempted either. Marriage is way different than that today. I think it makes the world a kind of better place knowing someone longer instead of thinking you're falling in love with them and just marry them. Then later on divorce them and make them suffer up in a tower to die. That's horrible! Our world today would be a mess if that type of marriage still took place.
