Beware, Princess Elizabeth: Carolyn Meyer

It has been well of a few weeks and months since Elizabeth's father has passed away. It is now Elizabeth's fourteenth birthday. She received a birthday gift from her sister Mary. She gave her a pretty pair of kidskin gloves embroided with pearls. I feel kind of bad for Elizabeth because she has not parents to celebrate her birthday with besides her stepmother and a sister that's from another mother. At least there is someone there for her to give her something on her birthdays. If my real parents weren't with me on my young birthdays, I would probably cry. I hope that Elizabeth becomes queen and gets a lot of attention from everybody.
