Beware, Princess Elizabeth: Carolyn Meyer

It had been a few days after King Edward's death. Many events had come. Sir William Cecil visited Elizabeth at Hatfield. Elizabeth recovered from her fever and felt like her old self again. On July 9th, Lady Jane was taken to Syon House, one of the royal palaces, where her father-in-law had knelt and solemnly informed her of the death of the king and of her succession. Feeling better and getting rid of that fever would help me but I don't think I could get over my brother's death. I wouldn't know what to do. I would be even more lonely without my parents AND my brother. I would hope to have the strength like Elizabeth does and keep on living. I just think that would be a depressing life. But there are other people in her life and as well, mine that love her other than her family. It would still be hard though and a very tough time to go through.
