Beware, Princess Elizabeth: Carolyn Meyer

Elizabeth was having supper with the queen and had been in a good mood. She had been dressed by maids in a black velvet gown with french sleeves over a white damask petticoat. Kat had no longer been with Elizabeth as her governess. Elizabeth was now twenty, but she had still kept relying on Kat as she always had her companionship. Elizabeth had always carried a prayer book with her. Queen Mary had told her to get rid of her prayer book she had hanging off her wrist. Elizabeth of course, had to obey her as the queen. Elizabeth kind of thought to herself, must be nice being a queen and having so much power. I wouldn't think there would be anything wrong of having a prayer book. You could always use it and it's a good thing you carry around that kind of stuff or something like a rosary. It shows you have belief and it's important to you. I'm disliking Mary as a queen. Of course when someone is in charge, they think they can do everything and anything they want.
