Favorite Christmas Memory

My favorite Christmas memory was when I was little and got a cd player and some cd's. I was at my Aunt Dana's house. My parents had brought some gifts from home up to Arlington to open. I was so happy to finally get a cd player. My brother had received one too. Mine was red and Hunter's was blue. I loved not knowing what I was getting. I remember writing a letter to Santa and my mom would say she would send it to him. So I was so anxious to see what if I was going to get what I had asked for. Sure enough, we began opening gifts and there it was a new, red cd player. The minute I opened it I wanted to start listening to it. I don't remember what cd's I had got. I think one was the Shrek soundtrack. I was a huge fan of the Powerpuff Girls back then and my Aunt Stephanie had given me a Powerpuff Girls rolling back pack with some Powepuff Girls lip gloss. I was so excited. That was a pretty good Christmas memory.

Beware, Princess Elizabeth: Carolyn Meyer

I'm not sure if I'm quite understanding the book right now. Everything was clear before but now Elizabeth starts saying a surgeon told her she would cure if she bled an hour after midnight. Not quite getting the picture. So he began to open her vein and took blood. This book was good. Hopefully it doesn't start falling to parts and start to not make sense.

Beware, Princess Elizabeth: Carolyn Meyer

Elizabeth was leaving London. It was late in November. She had arrived at Ashridge. Her first duty was to thank the queen for all her kindnesses. I think it was nice to let Elizabeth go but I still don't care for her. I think she still treated Elizabeth bad about her mom. I'd still be upset but then she did let her go. She could have made her stay. I'm just hoping that Elizabeth becomes queen soon.

Beware, Princess Elizabeth: Carolyn Meyer

Elizabeth had finally arrived in Ashridge. She had been in the chapel knelt down behind a screen to make a confession. Then all of a sudden a messenger that had been disguised as a priest had given Elizabeth a letter. It had been from Thomas Wyatt. It was saying that Elizabeth had been the only one to truly fit ruling England and her day would be coming soon. I'm glad Elizabeth is pretty much going to be the next queen. I think she will be a better queen than what Mary has been.

Beware, Princess Elizabeth: Carolyn Meyer

Elizabeth now is wanting to move to Ashridge in Hertfordshire. She had asked the queen if she could move there. She had sent this letter to the queen. She waited for days for a reply. Finally she got a reply. The answer had been no. Elizabeth had written to her again "imploring her to grant Elizabeth an audience. Days had passed. Then finally the queen wanted to see her. Elizabeth and Queen Mary had met. Elizabeth knelt to the floor asking if she could go to Ashridge. The queen said yes this time. Queen Mary is like a mother to a big country. That's just what we should do today, is move away. I think it's crazy that it's up to someone, besides you're mother or father, to let you move away or not.
