Heaven Is For Real
I am reading two books now because I couldn't wait to start reading Heaven Is For Real, and I don't want to stop in Anger Management. But in Heaven Is For Real, a young boy Colton had some experiences while he was in the hospital for a bursted appendix. But him and his family were on their way to Sioux Falls, SD to see a newborn cousin/nephew of theirs. This family comes from Nebraska. Well on their way to Sioux Falls, they drove by the hospital where Colton was. Colton's mother asked him if he wanted to go back there and he said no mom, but it is where I met Jesus. Colton's mother and father looked at each other and his mother had responded, "who"? Colton told them Jesus again. He told them him and Jesus were watching over what was happening and his mother was crying while his dad was hoping that Colton would be ok. His parents still puzzled, but they believed it because that's exactly what was going on while Colton was lying in that hospital bed. His mother asked what did you and Jesus do? Colton said that them and the angels were singing two songs together but he wanted to sing "We Will Rock You". This book is so amazing and I'm just getting started. I can't wait to finish it.

Angry Management: Chris Crutcher
Angus and Sarah are getting along better. Sarah even told him she's sorry she ever doubted him. I think she's starting to realize maybe that he is the only one who really truly cares about her and is the only one standing by her side. He listens to her and has helped her so far through some hard times. Anyone who stands by me through hard times are true people and I respect them.

Angry Management: Chris Crutcher
Sarah and Angus have been talking about the future and what they plan on doing. They talked about working at McDonalds. At this point I still feel sorry for both of them actually. What they have been through so far in life sounds like it's very tough and hopefully things get better for them. I hope they end up together in the end. They argue already all the time but I think they really like each other.

Shop IV
Today in Building Trades, Mr. Barker told us that we are going to start making or creating our own house. I am pretty excited to create my own house my own way. We wrote down what rooms we all want and bid on different lots we wanted to have. I bid on a lot then lost it to Adam. So I just chose the one next to it. I am excited to get started on creating my house!:)

Angry Management: Chris Crutcher
Angus and Sarah have found Sarah's mother. They go up to the door and Sarah's mother has nothing to say and wants Sarah to go away. Sarah was left when she was young. Her dad beat her and burned her then her mother took off without taking poor little Sarah. Angus decides to leave and goes to the car. Sarah is so upset her mother will not speak to her. Sarah walks towards the car and meets this little girl. The little girl asked what her name was. Sarah told her and the little girl says, "my name is Sarah too." The older Sarah finds out this is her mother's child. Sarah is so upset. I feel terrible for Sarah. How rude and unloving her parents are to her. Her dad abused her and her mom took off, had a kid, and named her Sarah. Bad move!

Angry Management: Chris Crutcher
It seems like Angus keeps trying his hardest to flirt with Sarah and talk to her or try to make things better. But Sarah is too worried about finding her mom and gets so annoyed by Angus which I don't blame her at all. When you're worried about something that's the last thing you want is a man trying to talk to you to make things better. They only make them worse. I'm hoping that Sarah ends up finding her mother soon.

Angry Management: Chris Crutcher
Angus and Sarah are out to look for Sarah's mother who had abondoned her at a young age. They stopped at this place where Sandy, Sarah's mother, had worked and talked to the daytime manager, Bob Newman. He told them he hadn't seen her for quite some time and that she had left in bad shape. The town has been worried about her. Bob had her address and phone number but she never seems to answer her calls. So Sarah and Angus continue so far on their journey on finding Sandy.

Angry Management: Chris Crutcher
Angus and Sarah got a hotel room together and ended up sleeping together and I mean "sleeping together". They end up doing the deed and Angus doesn't use protection..it's a little awkward right now I gotta say. So I think he is worrying about whether she may be pregnant or not. But now Sarah decides to find her mom.

Angry Management: Chris Crutcher
Angus is beginning to let some of his anger out. He talks a little about how he controls himself or lets things out when he gets really mad. Angus has four parents. He has two dads that are together and two moms that are together. I don't know what I would do in that situation. I feel bad for the kid. Angus says he's punched kids for making fun of his parents. I would never want to be in that situation.

Angry Management: Chris Crutcher
Angus has asked Sarah out on a date to the circus. I think it's kind of cute they're going to the circus together, but at the same time kind of weird. Angus seems like a gentlemen, which is what a woman wants. He's even letting her plug her Ipod in his radio so they can listen to what she wants.

Angry Management: Chris Crutcher
Angus, one of Mr. Nak's people in his anger management group, starts working out at a 24-hour fitness place where he meets this Sarah to work out with but he's usually there an hour before her. They talked about how overweight they are earlier in the book. It's a good thing to be working out and for one he swims and he can't believe the size of his swimming trunks. He says he thinks they were made for Shrek. I kind of feel bad for overweight people but only if they're trying and working hard to lose weight. I can understand and see why these two are in an anger management class.

Angry Management: Chris Crutcher
I just started reading this book and already like it. So far it's about this older man that runs an anger management group. One kid had called it angry management so since then it's been angry management. I like this older man's attitude towards the kids or teenagers. He kind of seems like a Clint Eastwood type of guy like in Gran Torino, which is awesome because he's a smart older guy, grouchy, and knows how to handle a teenage kid. I think this book will definately be a good one.

On The Devil's Court: Carl Deuker
Joe is now a senior in high school playing for a different team since his family has moved. He's now playing for a tough, but good basketball team. As he's at a 3 on 3 he realizes that this team is better to be playing for and they could stomp his old team. I think Joe will be happy even though he's moved on from his old town and old friends but he loves basketball so I'm sure he'll end up maybe being the best player on the team.

Travels With Charley
My favorite character would have to be John. He's a very adventurous man and seems like he is not afraid of anything. John would be the type of guy to travel with because he is not afraid of anything happening. I mean you never know what you’d run into or where exactly you would end up but he’s not afraid of what’s going to happen or where he may end up next. He also meets many people like those farmers from Maine. That would be another thing I wouldn’t be sure about is meeting people I don’t even know from like how many states away but at the same time it would be pretty interesting. I want to be the type of person to try something new without being scared or not being scared to take a risk, like John. To be a traveler and never know what’s coming or what the weather’s going to be like or where you end up is a scary thought but at the same time John is a very brave guy and is willing to travel to all of these places.
I like when he ends up in New Hampshire in the White Mountains. Just the way he describes it. There are many other interesting places he has been but this place just makes me think of fall. Like golden pumpkins, russet squashes, and baskets of red apples. And fresh-pressed cider. It just makes me want fall here more and more. And then he mentions deer skin gloves which makes me want fall here even more. There are so many beautiful things that happen during the fall like the colors of the leaves, deer season, Thanksgiving with the cider and the pumpkin pie. Just reading about where he traveled to made me think of these types of things and made me want to just go there.

On The Devil's Court: Carl Deuker
Joe has now switched from playing small schools to playing big schools. He transferred to a public school, Loyal High. So he had to try out with 15 other guys to make it on the team.

On The Devil's Court: Carl Deuker
Joe has explained and opened up about his mother now. He says his father always used to tell him she's "big all around" but now that he's grown up he knows what they're talking about. Joe is obviously an only child. They moved to Boston which is a little upsetting because he's a Celtics fan but still thinks the world of Magic Johnson so it's not so bad I guess. But it seems like his parents think they're a little too busy for him sometimes but they're starting to open up more and get more involved with asking him if he has met anyone in the neighborhood or asking him why he didn't go out for a summer baseball league. When this whole time he's only thinking about basketball.

On The Devil's Court: Carl Deuker
Joe is a kid who has a father that thinks he's such an important guy and is good at everything even sports. There is one sport though that Joe's father is just not good at and that's basketball. Joe's dad smokes two packs of cigarettes a day but makes up for it by working out four times a week in the faculty gym. Joe's father sounds like a kind of father I would not want to have. He seems too busy for Joe and everytime Joe wants to shoot a few or play a game of basketball, his father tells him he's too busy, but really he just sucks at basketball.

1920's
I used confidence, career, and success because right now I don't use enough confidence to build up and know I'm going to have a good career and become successful at what I do. I want to wake up every day knowing it will be a good day and that I will be making money to support my family. A truthful, caring man is very important to me. I wouldn't want a man lying to me and I want one that cares for me and the family. Not one who thinks he's busy and gets caught up in other things that he thinks are more important to him than his own family. I would love to have a 2011 Ford F.150 pickup. They are sweet, probably not the best on gas but that would be something to make me want to work hard and become confident in my career and be able to spend some of the money I make on something really nice like that. You should be able to have something nice in your life and enjoy it. Life's too short to worry about how much some things will cost. I chose the picture of the Ford since I am wanting a Ford pickup later on. Then I chose the big old house because I want to have a decent size house. I don't want to end up living in some little 2 bedroom house.

The Great Gatsby: F. Scott Fizgerald
Dick has never saw his great-uncle. That reminded me of not ever seeing my grandpa until I grew up and saw maybe one or two pictures of him. But Dick had graduated from New Haven in 1915. Later on he had participated in the Great War.

Coyote Autumn: Bill Wallace
Brad now had the coyote pup and ran to get some hay for the bedding for the pup. As he went to look for the hay, he had picked something up and Nolan had corrected him and told him it was alfalfa he had been holding not hay or straw. Then Brad opened a feed sack which was about half full of dry dog food with five cans on top of that. Nolan lined up the cans inside the door. Then he dug in his pocket and pulled out a can opener. He set the sack next to the cans. The first decided to feed the dog and realized neither of them had ever fed a coyote puppy before. It would be interesting to find and keep a coyote pup. I think it would be a fun experience.

Coyote Autumn: Bill Wallace
Brad and his friend, Nolan, had went fishing. Well they had heard something and looked behind a few bushes into some kind of pipe and saw a coyote. They were both scared Nolan had fell back into the tackle box and was sitting in a weird position. Brad had went over to see what he was doing and why he was sitting so weird. Brad came over and there were hooks stuck in Nolan's rear. Nolan was in some pain. So Brad walked him home and Nolan's mom had cut through the jeans and jockey shorts. His dad grabbed a pliers and tried to get Nolan's mind off of the hooks that were stuck into him. Nolan was explaining about the coyote. Then as he was telling the story, his dad started pulling them out. His parents didn't believe it was a coyote they figured it was a fox or something. Brad sat there and just watched Nolan and the pain he was going through. But they really did see a coyote. Fishing hooks scare me sometimes. Especially if you're talking to someone and not paying attention or if your tackle box is a mess and you're digging around in it trying to find something then one pokes you. You start to freak out because it could be rusted or something.

Coyote Autumn: Bill Wallace
I think Brad received almost everything he's wanted besides a pet. The reason moving to Oklahoma was that Brad's father was asked to become a principal at one of the schools. Brad had not a yard but a big farm and not some apartment a house to themselves. He wants a dog or a horse or he even said a hamster or goldfish. I believe he has a sister and a brother. But having a pet would be more fun. At least you wouldn't be fighting with it like you do your siblings. Whenever Brad asks his parents for a pet all they say is, "We'll see." Where have I heard that before? That is all my parents say when you're pretty sure it won't be happening or they just don't know. Then you have to sit and wait for a straight answer. It makes me so mad!

Coyote Autumn: Bill Wallace
Some hunters had came to stop by and asked Brad's father if they could hunt on his land. I'm sure his dad didn't let him because as they drove off he told Brad that those people drive like a bunch of idiots. They came to hunt coyotes. I agree with his dad. When we're road hunting for pheasants, there are people who drive like idiots thinking they're going to get the game first and they don't pay attention to what they're doing. Most of them are out of staters. Go figure!

Coyote Autumn: Bill Wallace
Coyote Autumn starts out with a young boy named Brad that moves from Chicago to Oklahoma. Brad loves living in Oklahoma out in the country because it's peace and quiet. Of course in Chicago there isn't much peace and quiet. It's a big city full of noise. I definately don't blame him for liking the country thing more. I used to live only a mile out of Armour, but it was nice out there. You have your own privacy and you don't have people driving their snowmobiles through your yards. Also, window peepers. I hate when people drive by and look in our big window. The country just has such a better atmosphere and space to do your own thing.

A
One thing that is important in my life that start with A is my cousin Andrea. I swear whenever we're together we're a couple of blonde twins. We act alike and talk alike when we're together. I love it when we're together. We ALWAYS have a good time together. Another thing that starts with A is the Army. They do so much for our country and some people don't even realize it. The other day I was looking at pictures of soldiers' faces in a People magazine. Their faces were so damaged and doctors had fixed em. But they didn't look the same after their surgeries. I thought it really takes some courageous, willing, and brave people to fight for our country. Some people have to spend everyday trying to look good while others are either getting their faces blew off or getting bad damage. The Army and Guards are so important. They should be important to everyone. I was really sad once I saw those pictures. The Ambulance is an important thing also. How would someone get to the hospital as fast as they could without an ambulance? Some people would be surprised how fast an ambulance could save their life. Lastly, aspirin is very important to me too. I don't know what I would do without it. I hate having headaches or bad pains. Aspirin is the way to go! It's is also important because a lot of older people have pains in their legs or head also. When I'm working I always get the question, "Can I please have some aspirin"? So I go tell the nurse of course. But anyways, aspirin is a very important medication to have.

Beware, Princess Elizabeth: Carolyn Meyer
Princess Elizabeth is now Queen of England. I kind of knew she would be. I know she will make a good queen. I think she is a confident and strong woman. I'm just glad her sister Mary is no longer queen. But Elizabeth still will not marry and I still do not blame her. Men are trouble and frustrating!!
